Need: Institutional Landscape in a drought prone area showcasing latest technologies in horticulture Training

The collaboration with Governments of Rajasthan & Netherlands, led to the establishment of the first of its kind horticulture innovation and training centre in India. The institution was spread across 8 acres of landscape area housing the training halls, hostels and canteen. The challenge was to create an encyclopaedia of plants, interconnecting the greenhouses and practical training spaces to create a user friendly but functionally study oriented campus translating the training content into a live experience. Amphitheatre, covered pathways, different styles of garden design, seasonal blooms, perennial shrubs, formed the essence of the design.


Outcome: Multitude of species, water conservation, microclimate creation
